Musical-direct and accompany singer Ben Cherry in his cabaret debut at The Metropolitan Room at Gotham. The show consisted of songs of love, hate and ambivalence toward New York City written by such as Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Harry Warren, Gordon Jenkins, Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Schwartz, John Bucchino, Maury Yeston, Michael John LaChiusa, Dave Frishberg, Peter Golub, Nellie McKay, and Michael Mooney. We were honored to have Mr. Mooney in our audience, and to have had the benefit of direction by Ms. Suzanne Carrico.
