Forty-four years of James Bond movie-themes in one hour.” A retrospective of the film music from 21 Bond movies, 1962-2006. Featuring singer Douglas Cochrane (American Idol contestant)in a reprise of our well-received November 2006 show–with the welcome addition of Mr. Barry Wiesenfeld, ace bassist–interpreting songs by John Barry, Bricusse & Newley, Marvin Hamlisch, Paul McCartney, Bono, k.d. lang, Sheryl Crow, Chris Cornell, etc…originally sung by Shirley Bassey, Louis Armstrong, Carly Simon, Rita Coolidge, Duran Duran, A-Ha, Garbage, Tina Turner, Gladys Knight, Nancy Sinatra, etc. The notices for this show were picked up by the James Bond fan sites www.commanderbond.net and www.MI6.co.uk. Douglas and I were also interviewed by the producer of the “Out and About” cable TV show, who had also just filmed our performance. A segment of the show and interviews may be aired on Time Warner…look out for it!
